Indiana and Illinois...

  Sugar Creek, Flatrock River, East Fork White River, 
  Big Blue River, Driftwood River, Youngs Creek, Flatrock River,
  Wabash River and the White River.

.Recent heavy rainfall will continue to result in flooding over 
parts of area rivers and creeks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* Impact...At 11.0 feet, In Johnson county, CR 400 S east of US 31, 
  CR 725 E north of CR 400 S and Greensburg Road from CR 700 E to CR 
  800 E are closed by flood waters.  Low agricultural land is 
  flooded.  A few homes and outbuildings surrounded by high water.  
  At least one residential unit would flood if water rose another 1 
  to 2 feet.

  Seymour gravel pit begins to flood.  Livestock and equipment must 
  be relocated to higher ground.  High water surrounds river 
  residences near Rockford.  CR 760 E south of river gaging station 
  is impassable.

* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Flooding begins to affect business and 
  residential property.   West Washington Avenue east of rendering 
  plant begins to flood. In winter and spring, persons are not too 
  concerned.  This level is rather unusual for summer.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 10:30 AM EDT Saturday was 12.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.8 feet 
  tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday 
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 13.3 feet, Lowland flooding in progress along 
  Driftwood River in northern Bartholomew County on April 6, 2011. 
  Double Y Saddle Club area flooded.  At least 6 inches of water 
  flowing over CR 950N to Club. Water is less than one foot away 
  from CR 330W just south of its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 
  500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular access to 
  residences near the river bank. Lowell Public Access site is open 
  but ramp is totally flooded. Water close to one residence at 
  Shelby CR 1000S and CR 900W.

  Palestine.  A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 4:45 PM EDT Saturday was 15.8 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.7 feet 
  early Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early 
  Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At 16.4 feet, State Road 258 remained open after the 
  river rebounded quickly to this level in June 2010.  State Road 
  258 had been flooded a few days earlier after river crested at 
  17.9 feet.

  Palestine.  A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in 
  Sullivan County may flood.  Water level is at the top of most

  flowing over CR 950N to Club. Water is less than one foot away 
  from CR 330W just south of its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR 
  500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular access to 
  residences near the river bank. Lowell Public Access site is open 
  but ramp is totally flooded. Water close to one residence at 
  Shelby CR 1000S and CR 900W.

  Ridge Rd.  CR 500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular 
  access to residences near the river bank.  Lowell Public Access 
  site is completely flooded.  Water very near several residences
