  Vermilion County in east central Illinois...
  Champaign County in east central Illinois...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 608 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Rankin to 6 miles north of St. Joseph to
  Mahomet, moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...

FOR VERMILION AND CHAMPAIGN COUNTIES...

At 632 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles southeast of Rossville to Oakwood to Seymour,
moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR VERMILION AND CHAMPAIGN
COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 700 PM CDT...
            
The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However gusty
winds and heavy rain are still expected with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
east central Illinois.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Lincoln.
