PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two 
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't 
drown.

  the Verdigris River at Altoona.
* From this afternoon to tomorrow morning.
* At 1:46 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.2 feet 
  this evening. It will then fall below flood stage this evening.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural fields and gravel 
  road near the river bridge off of Highway 47 occurs.
