  Big Nance Creek AT Courtland affecting Lawrence County.

For the BIG NANCE CREEK...including Courtland...Minor flooding is 
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All 
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

* From Thursday afternoon to late Friday night.
* At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early 
  tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 15.0 feet early Friday morning. 
  It will then fall below flood stage Friday evening.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins on the left bank of 
  the river.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.7 
  feet on 03/07/2004.
