* Until 815 PM CDT.
* At 514 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding has been reported by emergency
management officials in the Owens Crossroads community.

EVENING FOR SOUTHEASTERN MADISON AND NORTHWESTERN MARSHALL
COUNTIES...
At 844 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported significant flash
flooding in Arab and Owens Crossroads. Near Arab, Eighth Avenue and
Arab-Thompson Road has been washed out. Some roads in the area are
reported to be under multiple feet of water, stranding cars. In
Owens Crossroads, several roads are underwater. Between 5 and 8
inches of rain have fallen, especially in western Marshall County.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible through 11
PM. If you can avoid driving tonight, please do so!

* At 950 PM CDT, local law enforcement continued to report
significant flash flooding in Arab, New Hope, and Owens
Crossroads. Near Arab, Eighth Avenue and Arab-Thompson Road has
been washed out, and cars are stranded due to multiple feet of
water. In Owens Crossroads, several roads are underwater. Near New
Hope, the intersection of Hobbs Island Road and Vann Road is
reported to be under four feet of water. As of 945 PM, between 6
and 8 inches of rain have fallen, especially in western Marshall
County. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible
through 1 AM CDT. If you can avoid driving tonight, please do so!
