The National Weather Service in Hanford CA has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Kern County in central California...

* Until 445 PM PDT.
    
* At 415 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 11 miles west of Wasco, or 19 miles southwest of
  Delano, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Wasco around 435 PM PDT.
