  Northeastern Union County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 309 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Union, or
  over Monarch Mill, and is nearly stationary.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

  Union, Monarch Mill, Buffalo, Lockhart, Adamsburg and Santuc.

At 336 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Union, or over
Monarch Mill, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire.  However, gusty 
winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
