* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina...
  Northeastern Anderson County in Upstate South Carolina...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 247 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southeast
  of Easley, or near Piedmont, moving south at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Piedmont, Belton, Williamston, West Pelzer, Anderson, Donaldson
  Center and Powdersville.

building.

FOR NORTHEASTERN ANDERSON COUNTY...Continuous cloud to ground 
lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading 
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to 
be struck by lightning.

At 320 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast of
Anderson, moving southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Belton, Williamston, West Pelzer, Anderson and Piedmont.
