...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHWESTERN MACON,
SCHLEY AND NORTHERN SUMTER COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EDT...
At 946 PM EDT...a strong thunderstorm was over Fountainville, or 7
miles west of Oglethorpe. This storm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Winds 40 to 50 mph...frequent lightning and heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light...unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.
