The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Coosawattee River near Ellijay.
* From Thursday, March 25 until further notice.
* At 3:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 10.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late 
  this morning and continue falling to 2.8 feet Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet, Moderate Flooding continues. Flood water 
  surrounds the American Legion Post 82 on Legion Road...and affects 
  the Georgia Power Substation next to the Post.  Significant 
  flooding expands over the Harold Hefner River Park...including the 
  athletic fields and walking trail.
