...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...

  Yellow River near Conyers below Milstead affecting Newton and 
  Rockdale Counties.

  Ocmulgee River near Macon affecting Jones, Houston, Bibb, Monroe 
  and Twiggs Counties.

  Middle Oconee River near Arcade affecting Jackson and Barrow 
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

...The Flood Warning remains in effect...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Ocmulgee River near Macon.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 20.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 18 feet.
* Minor flooding will continue.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22 feet 
  early Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Minor flooding expands. An increasing 
  amount of the Macon GreenWay Ocmulgee Heritage Trail floods north 
  of the Martin Luther King Boulevard bridge. The flood waters will 
  be up to two feet deep on portions of the trail and both banks 
  overflow upstream from the bridge. Large portions of agricultural 
  lands east of Macon and well downstream will be under 1 to 4 feet 
  of water.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Middle Oconee River near Arcade.
* Until Friday morning.
* At 9:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 9 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just 
  after midnight tonight to a crest of 17.4 feet tomorrow morning. 
  It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
* Impact...At 18 feet, Minor flooding continues in the woodlands...
  fields and pasture upstream and downstream from the gage at 
  Georgia Highway 82. A few dirt access roads and a residential yard 
  just downstream will be flooded with up to two feet of water.

  the Yellow River near Conyers below Milstead.
* From late tonight to late Friday evening.
* At 9:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 4.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 11 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early 
  Friday morning to a crest of 11.1 feet early Friday morning. It 
  will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
* Impact...At 11 feet, Flood Stage is reached. Minor flooding begins 
  in the woodlands...fields and pasture along the river  upstream 
  and downstream from the gage on Gees Mill Road in Rockdale County. 
  Portions of Sockwell Road by the river in Newton County will be 
  around two feet under water.

The Flood Warning is cancelled for
  the Yellow River near Conyers below Milstead.
* At 2:30 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 4.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 11 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.6 feet 
  early Saturday morning. The forecast rainfall amounts are no 
  longer expected to produce Minor flooding along this stretch of 
  the river. Rainfall amounts and river conditions will continued to 
  be monitored for future alerts.
