Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* At 12:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 18.8 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 19 feet.
* Minor flooding is expected to develop.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.7 feet 
  by early evening. It is expected to fall below flood stage late 
  this evening.
* Impact...Between 16 and 19 feet, Bankfull conditions occur along 
  the creek upstream and downstream from the gage on Old Dalton Road.
* Impact...At 19 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding of 
  woodlands, fields and pastures begins along the creek upstream and 
  downstream from the gage on Old Dalton Road.
