The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Hays County in south central Texas...
  North central Guadalupe County in south central Texas...
  Northeastern Comal County in south central Texas...

* Until 130 AM CDT.
    
* At 105 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Canyon Lake, or 8 miles west of Canyon Lake Dam,
  moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  New Braunfels, San Marcos, Kyle, Wimberley, Canyon Lake Dam, Canyon
  Lake, Zorn, Hunter, Startzville, Sattler and Redwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN HAYS...NORTH CENTRAL
GUADALUPE AND NORTHEASTERN COMAL COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 130 AM
CDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However hail and 
gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
south central Texas.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
Comal, Hays, and Guadalupe County until 230 AM.
