The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Adair County in northeastern Missouri...
  Northeastern Macon County in north central Missouri...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.
    
* At 935 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near La Plata, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  La Plata around 945 PM CDT.

COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened, and no longer 
appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However large hail, 
gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for north central
and northeastern Missouri.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Adair and Macon Counties until 1015 pm.
