  Little Blue River at Lees Summit Road affecting Jackson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* At 10:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  afternoon to a crest of 21.6 feet this afternoon. It will then 
  fall below flood stage this afternoon.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Low-lying areas adjacent to the river begin 
  to flood including portions of the Little Blue Trace Trail.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, Little Blue Trace Trailhead parking lot 
  near Phelps Road begins to flood.
