  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 3 to 5 inches in 1 
  hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in 
  the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

AFTERNOON FOR NORTHERN LINN KS, MIAMI, NORTHWESTERN BATES AND CASS 
COUNTIES...

At 239 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across 
the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The 
expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional 
rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. 
Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
