  Southeastern Putnam County in north central Illinois...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 512 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Varna, or 9 miles east of Lacon, moving north at
  20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud at 504 PM CDT.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.
