At 143 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area, as more showers and storms can be expected this
afternoon. Around 1200 PM CDT, there were spotter reports of water
over roadways in parts of Scotland County, Missouri. Flash flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

At 414 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area, leading to flash
flooding between 1200 PM and 100 PM. Several roads were washed over,
where travel was not advised. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area, as more showers and thunderstorms push into the
area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
