The National Weather Service in Des Moines  has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Marshall County in central Iowa...

* Until 845 PM CDT.
    
* At 810 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Baxter, or 14 miles north of Newton, moving east
  at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Marshall County, including the following locations...
  Haverhill, Rhodes, Melbourne and Laurel.
