* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this 
  evening to a crest of 9.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It 
  will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 8.0 feet, The left, or north bank overflows downstream 
  of the Route 104 bridge. A campground is affected. A number of 
  secondary roads in the Penns Creek drainage are affected by high 
  water.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, High water overflows both banks. Several 
  homes and cottages on the left or north bank are affected. Many 
  secondary roads along the creek are closed due to high water 
  levels.

* Impact...At 12.0 feet, The right, or south bank overflows. The 
  Road near the river upstream of Williamsburg is inundated. A few 
  homes experience basement flooding.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet, Sections of route 866 from Williamsburg to 
  Ganister are covered by flood waters.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet, Many homes on the right, or south bank will 
  be affected by high water.
* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Many homes on the right, or south bank are 
  affected by high water. The south approach to the highway bridge 
  is unundated. A number of other streets and roads in the area are 
  closed.
* Impact...At 17.5 feet, FEMA 10% Annual Chance Flood Level (10-year 
  flood).
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Most of Williamsburg is affected by high 
  water. Very few houses on the right bank are above this level.

* At 10:45 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 3.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  this evening to a crest of 13.9 feet tomorrow morning. It will 
  then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact...At 7.0 feet, The Youghiogheny Reservoir is expected to 
  begin curtailing releases due to high water downstream of the dam. 
  River interests are encouraged to monitor conditions in their 
  vicinity and to be prepared if further rises occur.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet, The right bank of the river overflows 
  downstream of confluence and about 1/4 mile upstream from the 
  gaging station.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet, State Route 3003 is closed due to high 
  water. High water covers the road about one tenth of a mile 
  downstream of the confluence of the Casselman and Youghiogheny 
  Rivers.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.4 
  feet on 03/29/2005.

  development on the right bank of Yellow Breeches Creek begin to 
  flood. A mobile home park near Williams Grove is also affected by 
  high water.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, A number of homes in the Green Lane Farms 
  development are affected by high water. Cedar Cliff Drive on the 
  left bank upstream from the single span bridge on Green Lane Drive 
  is inundated. Creekwood Drive has several feet of water on it, and 
  water is approaching homes.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, Flood waters begin to reach the Slate Hill 
  Road Bridge.
* Impact...At 10.5 feet, Flood waters begin to reach the Green Lane 
  Drive Bridge.
