...AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT PARTS OF CHAUTAUQUA...
CATTARAUGUS...SOUTHERN ERIE...AND WYOMING COUNTIES...
HAZARDS...An area of heavy snow which can rapidly reduce visibility
to less than a half of a mile.
LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 455 PM EST, an area of heavy snow
stretching from Orchard Park southwestward to Ripley was moving
southeast at 10 MPH.
LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
Jamestown, Dunkirk, Fredonia, Hamburg, Evans, Boston, Eden,
Springville, Colden, Westfield, Lakewood, Gowanda, Silver Creek,
Falconer, Ashford, Angola, Arcade, Franklinville, Mayville and
Clymer.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 90 between exits 61 and 57.
Interstate 86 between exits 4 and 16.
The snow can accumulate at a rate of one half to one inch per hour
