...LAKE EFFECT SNOW DEVELOPING EAST OF LAKE ERIE...

Lake effect snow showers are intensifying east of Lake Erie. Brief 
bursts of moderate snow will develop this evening, especially across 
the higher terrain of the Boston Hills, ridges of Wyoming County, 
and the higher terrain of the western Southern Tier. 

Temperatures are dropping below freezing across higher terrain, so 
the snow will begin to stick and roads will become very slippery in 
some spots. Strong west winds will also create low visibility in the 
snow showers.
