...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON
AND NORTHEASTERN LEWIS COUNTIES...
At 741 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Cedar Point State Park to 9 miles
southwest of Fowler. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these
storms.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Drum, Clayton, Cedar Point State Park, Philadelphia, Theresa,
Antwerp, Harrisville, Grindstone, Fishers Landing, La Fargeville,
Plessis, Depauville, Lake Bonaparte and Natural Bridge.
This includes Interstate 81 near exit 49.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
