...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON
AND NORTHEASTERN LEWIS COUNTIES...

At 635 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms continued to move southeast 
across the St. Lawrence river into northern Jefferson and Lewis 
counties, moving southeast at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Kring Point State Park, Wellesley Island State Park, Redwood,
Alexandria Bay, Theresa, Antwerp, Harrisville, Plessis, Oxbow,
Muskellunge Lake and Lake Bonaparte.

This includes Interstate 81 between exits 50 and 51.
 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these training storms, 
and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through 
flooded roadways.
