...AN AREA OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT SOUTHEASTERN JEFFERSON AND
NORTHERN LEWIS COUNTIES THIS AFTERNOON...

At 148 PM EST, a band of heavy snow extended from Lowville to 
Watertown, across much of the Tug Hill Plateau and extending 
northward to Harrisville. Expect snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per 
hour, visibility a quarter mile or less, and possibly some 
thundersnow. The band of heavy snow will remain nearly stationary 
through 3 p.m.

This includes Interstate 81 near exit 41.
