* Until 1130 PM EDT.

* At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 
  and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.

* Heavy rain will result in flooding of poor drainage and low lying 
  areas this evening. Flooding was recently reported in the City of 
  Rochester at an underpass on Culver Rd.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Rochester, Greece, Irondequoit, Chili, Brockport, Geneseo, East 
  Rochester, Hilton, Webster, Fairport, Dansville, Brighton, Gates, 
  Letchworth State Park, Henrietta, Penfield, Spencerport, Avon and 
  Mount Morris.

Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in 
the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

FOR LIVINGSTON, MONROE AND WESTERN ONTARIO COUNTIES...

At 827 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy 
rainfall across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain 
have fallen. Flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas will 
continue this evening.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Rochester, Greece, Irondequoit, Chili, Brockport, Geneseo, East 
  Rochester, Hilton, Webster, Fairport, Dansville, Brighton, 
  Gates-North Gates, Letchworth State Park, Henrietta, Penfield, 
  Spencerport, Avon and Mount Morris.

ONTARIO COUNTIES...

Heavy rain from earlier today has tapered off to light rain. Local 
officials report that flooding in poor drainage areas from earlier 
this evening has ended. Please continue to heed remaining road 
closures.

Note that a separate Flood Warning continues for Irondequoit Creek 
in Monroe County through 6 PM EDT Wednesday.
