The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Niagara County in western New York...

* Until 700 AM EDT Wednesday.

* At 1014 PM EDT, trained weather spotters and law enforcement have 
  reported flooding for much of Niagara County due to earlier heavy 
  rain in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing. Earlier rainfall 
  amounts between 2 and 4 inches have fallen across portions of 
  Niagara County.

* Flooding on area streams and creeks will continue through the 
  night. Slower responding rivers and creeks can continue to rise 
  after the heavier rain has ended.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Niagara Falls, Lockport, Lewiston, Youngstown, Sanborn, Fort 
  Niagara State Park, Cambria Center, Pendleton Center, Ransomville, 
  Model City, Rapids, Gasport and Wolcottsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
