* Impact...At 13.0 feet, This is a serious flood event. Flooding
will spread into residences along the river on Main Street.
Flooding will affect low lying areas from Northbridge to
Millville. Buisnesses along the river should take the necessary

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 15.9 feet tomorrow morning. It will then
fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Moderate flooding occurs with numerous
roads and residences affected. Evacuations may be needed along
various roads in Avon and Simsbury, including Riverside Road in
Simsbury. Flooding also begins to affect low lying sections of
Bloomfield and East Granby. Follow the directions of emergency
management officials and obey all road closures.
