...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Norton has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern Connecticut and 
  Massachusetts, including the following areas, in northern 
  Connecticut, Hartford CT and Tolland CT. In Massachusetts, Eastern 
  Franklin MA, Eastern Hampden MA, Eastern Hampshire MA, Northern 
  Middlesex MA, Northern Worcester MA, Southern Worcester MA, 
  Western Franklin MA, Western Hampden MA and Western Hampshire MA.

* Until 10 PM EDT this evening

* Scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop across the region 
  this afternoon into early this evening. Any thunderstorm that 
  develops will be capable of producing localized 2 to 4 inch 
  rainfall amounts in just one hour. This will result in the 
  potential for localized flash flooding.

* Do not drive through flooded roadways.
