SOUTHWESTERN PERRY AND WEST CENTRAL DALLAS COUNTIES UNTIL 345 PM CDT... At 311 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Dayton, or 7 miles southwest of Uniontown, moving east at 50 mph. Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Uniontown, Thomaston, Dayton, Bogue Chitto, Marion Junction, Perry County Correctional Center and Vaiden Field Airport. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
