...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN LITCHFIELD COUNTY...

At 121 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Preston, or
near New Milford, moving east at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
New Milford, Thomaston, Northwest Harwinton, Oakville, Terryville,
Woodbury Center, New Preston, Watertown, Plymouth, Woodbury,
Harwinton, Bethlehem, Washington, Morris, Roxbury, Bridgewater,
Hotchkissville, Reynolds Bridge, Candlewood Trails and Plymouth
Green.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
