Greatest rainfall rates are happening early this morning and will decrease quickly this afternoon. Storm total rainfall of 2 to 6 inches is expected with greatest amounts along SW facing slopes. * Area rivers and streams are rising near bankfull. Minor flooding of rivers and smaller creeks remains possible. Expect ponding of water in poor drainage areas. Isolated mudslides could occur along areas of steep terrain. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A watch means conditions are favorable for the development of flooding in and close to the watch area. Persons living along streams should stay alert and be prepared to take action if a warning or advisory is issued, or flooding is observed. The ongoing rains could swamp boats.
