...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM
AKST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 
  45 below zero.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 11 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause 
  frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures of 10 to 20 below zero along
  with wind gusts as high as 25 mph will persist through Wednesday
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM AKST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow occurring. Additional 
  accumulations of 1 to 6 inches, highest Bering side. North winds
  25 to 40 mph with gusts as high as 60 mph, especially near King
  Cove.

* WHERE...Alaska Peninsula.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM AKST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing 
  snow will reduce visibilities to one half mile or less at 
  times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow showers are expected to continue
  through tonight. Falling snow in combination with gusty winds 
  will continue to reduce visibility to one half mile at times. 
  Snow will become more showery this evening, though more 
  isolated, with brief reductions in visibility to one mile.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

Winds have subsided in the coldest portions of the Kuskokwim Delta 
and wind chills are no longer expected to drop beneath 40 below 
zero tonight. Elsewhere in the Kuskokwim Delta, such as near 
Bethel, temperatures are expected to remain warmer than 
previously forecast. Wind chills as low as 30 to 35 below zero are
still possible tonight in isolated locations where temperatures 
of 10 to 20 below zero and sustained winds approaching 15 mph are 
observed.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...

Snow has become increasingly showery overnight and reductions in
visibility as low as one half mile are no longer expected. Snow
showers will continue to taper off through Wednesday afternoon 
and some reduction in visibility due to blowing snow will remain 
possible, though lesser in severity and frequency.
