...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM AKST THIS 
AFTERNOON THROUGH THOMPSON PASS...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations of 2 
  to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM AKST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing 
  snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind 
  chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on 
  exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will gradually diminish this
  afternoon, leading to a slight improvement in visibility. 
  However, areas of blowing snow will persist. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel,
have a winter survival kit with you.If you get stranded, stay
with your vehicle.

  of 3 to 7 inches. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30
  mph. 

* WHERE...Homer northward to Anchor Point.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to midnight AKST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow will
  reduce visibilities to one half mile or less at times. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty southwest winds will develop this
  afternoon and persist through this evening, causing the falling
  snow to blow around. Yet another round of gusty winds and snow
  showers is possible beginning Wednesday afternoon.

  trace to one tenth of an inch. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph 
  with gusts to 30 mph.

* WHERE...Snow and blowing snow from Homer northward to Anchor
  Point. Freezing rain most likely along the coast from Kenai
  northward.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to midnight AKST tonight.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions, especially with any
  light icing through this evening. Blowing snow will reduce 
  visibilities to one half mile or less at times.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty southwest winds will develop this
  afternoon and persist through this evening, causing the falling
  snow to blow around. Yet another round of gusty winds and snow
  showers is possible beginning Wednesday afternoon. The best
  chance for freezing rain will exist north of Ninilchik into
  Kenai.
