...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT FOR
UNALASKA...

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 50 mph with gusts up to 75 mph 
  possible.

* WHERE...Eastern Aleutians, including Unalaska.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...High winds could move loose debris, damage property, 
  and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty westerly winds are expected to 
  rapidly increase Thursday afternoon along and behind a strong 
  front trailing from a low pressure system crossing north of 
  the Aleutians. Winds are expected to peak shortly after the 
  front passes overhead on Thursday afternoon and evening. 
  Strong winds will then gradually decrease through early Friday 
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A high wind watch means there is potential for a hazardous high
wind event. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates
on this situation. Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a
safe location prior to the onset of winds.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Thursday to 10 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, 
  and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially 
  for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will slowly decrease below Warning
  level through the day Friday, but will remain very gusty.
