...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN MCKINLEY COUNTY
UNTIL 230 PM MDT...
At 200 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles west of Vanderwagen to 8 miles
southwest of Zuni Pueblo. Movement was northwest at 15 mph.
Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Heavy rain and frequent and dangerous cloud to ground lightning will
also be likely with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Zuni Pueblo and Chi Chil Tah.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
