Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...
* Until 1115 AM MDT.
* At 812 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen along the Rio Hondo and Felix river basins. Additional
rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in the warned
area, including Roswell. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
