The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...

* Until 500 PM MDT.

* At 233 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated persistent thunderstorms 
  producing moderate to heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  0.75 and 1.50 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall 
  rate is 0.50 to 1.00 inch in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Eldorado At Santa Fe, Lamy, Galisteo, Canada De Los Alamos, 
  Cerrillos Hills State Park, Los Cerrillos, Glorieta and Madrid.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR CENTRAL SANTA FE COUNTY...

At 348 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms that 
produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches 
of rain have already fallen and arroyos around the El Dorado area 
were flooded. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.5 inches in 1 
hour through 415 PM MDT. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to 
begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
