Northeastern Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...
* Until 345 PM MDT.
* At 1238 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated nearly stationary
thunderstorms producing heavy rain near and south of Elkins,
including over Highways 380 and 70. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM MDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR NORTHEASTERN CHAVES COUNTY...
At 319 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced
between 2 and 4 inches of rain across eastern portions of Chaves
County between Elkins and Caprock earlier. Runoff from earlier
heavy rains will likely continue for a few more hours, but life
threatening flash flooding has likely ended.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
