  Western Torrance County in central New Mexico...

* Until 1030 PM MDT.

* At 721 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 
  inches of rain are already estimated to have fallen. Additional 
  rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned 
  area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks, washes,
           arroyos, and possibly highways.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

EVENING FOR NORTH CENTRAL SOCORRO AND WESTERN TORRANCE COUNTIES...

At 845 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy 
rain across the warned area. Between 1.50 and 2.50 inches of rain 
have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.50 
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
expected to begin shortly, especially along Montosa Draw and other 
arroyos near the Los Pinos Mountains.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.
