...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH...CARBON...
SOUTHWESTERN MONROE AND WEST CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...
At 1128 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Nesquehoning,
or near Tamaqua, moving east at 20 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Lehighton, Northampton, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Slatington,
Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Walnutport, Brodheadsville, New Mahoning,
Kunkletown, Neffs, Gilbert, Coffeetown, New Tripoli, Berlinsville,
Emerald, Kresgeville, Claussville and Danielsville.
This includes Northeast Extension between mile markers 59 and 84.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
