The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...

* Until 715 PM CDT.
    
* At 643 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado over water was located 5 miles south of Point Clear, 
  moving north at 55 mph. A second storm capable of producing a 
  tornado over water was located south of Gulf Highlands.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

If on or near Mobile Bay, get away from the water and move to safe 
shelter immediately. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough 
to be struck by lightning. Severe thunderstorms can produce large 
capsizing waves, even on small bodies of water. Move into dock and 
seek safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a 
thunderstorm.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN BALDWIN COUNTY...
    
At 657 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado 
over water was located near Fairhope, moving north at 55 mph. A 
second storm capable of producing a tornado over water was locted 
about 5 miles southwest of Point Clear moving north at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Baldwin County.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN BALDWIN COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT
715 PM CDT...
                
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. Broad rotation is 
still apparent with the storm northwest of Fairhope over Mobile Bay 
and will need to monitor for potential re-issuance of a warning. 

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southwestern
Alabama.
