* Flash Flood Warning for...
Cole County in central Missouri...
South central Boone County in central Missouri...
Southwestern Callaway County in central Missouri...
Moniteau County in central Missouri...
* Until 1115 PM CDT.
* At 522 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. 1 to 3 inches of rain have
fallen since around 3:30 pm CDT. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Jefferson City, California, Tipton, Holts Summit, Wardsville, St.
Martins, Taos, Russellville, Lake Mykee Town, Clarksburg,
Centertown, St. Thomas, High Point, McGirk, Hickory Hill, Brazito,
Lake Mykee, Marion, Mokane and Lohman.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area as more storms are forming upstream to the west.

At 928 PM CDT, law enforcement reported flash flooding had occurred
in Jefferson City.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported US Highway 50 as well as several
primary and numerous side roads were closed due to
flooding. Several cars were submerged and water was coming
through windows of some apartments. Water had receded
enough to where most main roads have been reopened but some
flooding continues.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage
and low lying areas.
