* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Cherry County in north central Nebraska...

* Until 745 PM MDT.

* At 653 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Swett, or 12
  miles west of Martin, moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado and tennis ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* The tornado will be near...
  Merriman around 725 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Highway 61 Crossing The Niobrara River, Irwin and Intersection of
Highway 20 and Irwin Road.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM MDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN CHERRY COUNTY...
    
At 717 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Merriman, or 13 miles south of Martin, moving
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Cherry County, including the following locations...
Highway 61 Crossing The Niobrara River, Irwin and Intersection of
Highway 20 and Irwin Road.

This includes the following highways...
