...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Warning, significant coastal 
  flooding. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip 
  currents.

* WHERE...Brazoria Islands and Galveston Island and Bolivar 
  Peninsula Counties.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 7 AM CDT Thursday. 
  For the High Rip Current Risk, until 7 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property 
  including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure 
  will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur. Rip 
  currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into 
  deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coastal flooding from Tropical Cyclone
  Beta with tides running around 1 to 3 feet above normal through
  Wednesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding. 
  For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.

* WHERE...Matagorda Islands and Brazoria Islands Counties.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 7 AM CDT 
  Thursday. For the High Rip Current Risk, until 7 PM CDT this 
  evening.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated
  road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even the best
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coastal flooding from Post-Tropical Cyclone
  Beta may result in tides running around 1 to 2 feet above normal
  through Thursday morning.

  For the High Rip Current Risk, until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property 
  including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure 
  will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur. Rip 
  currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into 
  deeper water.

  Tropical Cyclone Beta will continue to affect these areas and
  result in tides running around 1 to 3 feet above normal through
