* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Kingsbury County in east central South Dakota...
  North central Miner County in east central South Dakota...

* Until 1230 AM CDT.

* At 1139 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located 8 miles southwest
  of Lake Thompson State Recreation Area, moving northeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado north of Howard at 
           1136 pm CDT.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Lake Thompson State Recreation Area around 1155 PM CDT.
  De Smet around 1200 AM CDT.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT FOR CENTRAL
KINGSBURY AND NORTH CENTRAL MINER COUNTIES...
    
At 1149 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Lake Thompson State Recreation Area, moving 
northeast at 35 mph. This storm has produced a tornado and rotation 
is strengthening again.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
