  Eastern Bastrop County in south central Texas...
  South central Lee County in south central Texas...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.
    
* At 1053 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Smithville, moving northeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bastrop, Giddings, Smithville, Paige, Circle D-KC Estates, Upton,
  Serbin, Bastrop State Park, Hills Prairie, Togo, Alum Creek,
  Buescher State Park, and Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

At 1100 AM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Smithville,
moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
