The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Calhoun County in central South Carolina...
  West central Clarendon County in central South Carolina...
  Central Orangeburg County in central South Carolina...

* Until 145 PM EDT.
    
* At 1256 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located near Bowman, or 11 miles southeast of
  Brookdale, moving north at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Elloree around 110 PM EDT.
  Santee State Park around 115 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Poplar
Creek Landing, Creston, Stumphole Landing, Yonder Field, Cameron,
Lone Star, Low Falls Landing and Santee.

This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 151 and 165.

At 116 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Elloree, or 15 miles east of Brookdale, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Calhoun, west central Clarendon and central Orangeburg
Counties, including the following locations... Creston, Stumphole
Landing, Lone Star, Low Falls Landing and Poplar Creek Landing.
