The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Windham County in southern Vermont...

* Until 745 PM EDT.
    
* At 710 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Brattleboro, moving east at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Brattleboro around 715 PM EDT.
  Putney and Vernon around 720 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include North
Vernon, South Newfane, East Dummerston, East Putney, Marlboro, West
Dummerston, Fairview Village, Harrisville, Williamsville and East
Putney Station.
