...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Gale
Warning, which is in effect until 5 PM EDT this afternoon. The
Small Craft Advisory is no longer in effect.

* WINDS AND SEAS...Northwest winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 
  35 kt. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

* LOCATIONS...The gale force gusts will be mostly confined to the
  near shore waters, especially near Long Beach Island.

* OUTLOOK...Once winds diminish this afternoon, Small Craft
  Advisory conditions are likely to continue for most of tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
